At THA we have some of the best facilities in Queensland and we are committed to keeping them in the best condition we can.
Over the last weeks we have seen an increase in persons accessing the facility and using the turfs.
Most people are abiding by the THA requirements, however we feel it is appropriate that we confirm the THA rule.

The THA rule for turf usage has not changed for some years and we would like to reiterate this policy. Turf use is at the individual user’s cost (IE user pays)

•Persons under the age of 15 years must be supervised by an adult

•All turf usage must be booked using the THA website – https://www.townsvillehockey.com/about/facilities/turf-hire/
(regardless of whether you are exempt from paying the hire fee or not)

•Persons entering the THA facility must sign in using the Qld Covid App and observe all Qld Covid guidelines

•Use of THA equipment (balls and training aids) is not permitted

•Goal boxes on the sides of the fields must be used (not the competition goal boxes or goal circles)

•Some exemptions to hire fees may apply for life members, donors, sponsors and Queensland level players. Exceptions can be clarified with the office if needed.

This is not relevant for allocated club training times as approved by the Competitions Committee.
