Good morning,

The Townsville Hockey Association is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-orientated Administration Officer to join our team. This part-time position is responsible for the effective administration of the Hockey Association office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Banking
• Reconciliation
• Administrative support as required
• Stock Orders
• Filing
• Data Entry
• Customer contact

POSITION COMPETENCIES
Required
• Display a knowledge and understanding of an office environment
• Display each of the following attributes – excellent work ethic / dedication / punctual / attention to detail / organised / friendly / energetic
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated computer skills with a high level of experience in Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time, and accurately complete and prioritise tasks.
• Open class driver’s licence
• Ability to acquire a Working with Children Blue Card
Desirable
• Experience in Xero Accounting software including Payables/ Receivables/bank reconciliation and audit procedures and preparation.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• No formal qualifications are required for this position.
• All levels of experience considered.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The above position is a part-time position Monday to Friday 9am – 2.30pm, with additional hours during championships.
